Child sex trafficking is the buying and selling of any person under the age of 18 for the purpose of sexual exploitation. That encompasses a child being recruited, enticed, harbored, transported, provided, obtained, patronized, solicited, or maintained to perform a commercial sex act. A child can never be responsible for, or complicit in, their own abuse.
Volunteer
Volunteers are the foundation of Araminta’s community of healing. There are lots of ways to lend your time and energy to our prevention, education, and survivor service programs.
From assisting with seasonal events, to helping with ongoing organizational needs, to becoming a Survivor Advocate or Mentor, there is a role for everyone here. If you have special talents you’d like to offer, we are happy to hear more!
